Last Year’s Rafael Nadal Outfit for US Open
Nadal won the men’s singles competition last year —the sixteenth Grand Slam of his profession. Furthermore, in spite of some Twitter commotion that proposed pink was a bad choice of color for Nadal—he wore neon pink amid his memorable defeat to Robin Soderling at the 2009 French Open—Nadal (and Nike, his support) didn’t give superstition a chance to impede a forceful, on-incline style statement. Rafael Nadal is an enthusiast of splendid color and pink is basically wherever at the present time. The decision was clear.
Nadal’s pink statement was mostly concentrated on his shoes. He wore “siren red” NikeCourt Lunar Ballistec sneakers, and burgundy and pink half-calf socks.
